I know we tried getting him to play for Wales before but why don't Coleman try his hardest and make him realise it be a good opportunity for him cause tbh as much as he a good defender I don't think England will take a look at him.
He be a great assets for Wales cause we crying out for a CB. James Collins is up and down with injuries and Danny gabbidon has past his sell by date now and there is no one else to put in that centre back place
What does everyone think?

He's said in the past that he's English, not Welsh, and that's why he won't play for us.
On another note, has anyone noticed that he hasn't hoofed the ball forward anywhere near as much as he used to in the past few games? He's done well to improve that part of his game, and he's really impressed me this season.

He probably came on here and seen everyone moan about it and made him realise that he needs to change that part of his style of football

I wouldn't rule him out for England in the future. Not necessarily together, but Turner and Caulker are at least as good as most of the other central defenders in the England squad. None of the defence against Chile came out of the game with much credit.
On another note, people on here complain about blokes like Ashley Williams playing for Wales, or at least captaining Wales, (he's not even Welsh.......etc.,), credit to Turner for saying that he feels English.

In fairness to Williams he has said he is proud of his inherited Welsh be it from his grandmother. Turner has done the same regarding being English although his roots are more acceptable than Williams in my view. I personally do not think that the grandparent rule should apply.

Just to clarify, Ashley Williams is an excellent player, a good captain, and his committment to Wales is beyond any doubt.
But ,generally speaking, tend to agree with you on the grandparent rule.

Love how the majority of our fans feel Williams shouldn't play for Wales because he's really English, but then we all want Turner to play for Wales and he's English...

Exactly , I can't imagine Cardiff fans booing Turner if he chose to play for wales or even captain for wales. I think it's purely a jack thing with Williams.

Hope Turner stick to his loyalties but his choice.
If we stay up and he continues how he is, he could be within a shout of a call up for a friendly which wouldn't surprise me.

Could you imagine the possibility of Cardiff City containing the English international centre back pairing of Steven Caulker and Ben Turner?
Nope me neither
