The great S African scrum half battles with motor neurone disease. Beast of a athlete and great player reduced to a shell of a man. Very sad to see his interview on scrum v. It's a reminder of the fragility of life. Don't waste it fellas

Yes, just puts everything about life into perspective really.

So sad to see such a great sportsman like this.

Just live your life as you never know what tomorrow will bring.

A great player and so sad to see, puts all the petty things in life into perspective.

Scary how quickly lives can change. Seems like a great bloke & was an outstanding player! Massive respect for him for the attitude he has towards battling the disease.

Heartbreaking to see, life is an amazing thing enjoy it while you can, were not hear long, and to think we worry so much about things. Puts it into perspective.
