How is that so idiotic? They are finding a better balance than us at the moment for sure.

Theyve gone away to newcastle, took it to them and beat them whereas we played Newcastle at home and went all defensive and lost the game?

Even in defeat against Man City and Chelsea away they took the game to them, and were very unlucky not to get a point, possibly all 3 against City. Whereas we deserved f**k all at places like Villa and Norwich because of such a negative mindset where we didnt even make their keeper work.

I also mentioned West Brom who have beaten Man U away and but for a ridiculous 96th minute decision would have beaten Chelsea away.

But according to some on here football is played on reputation so how dare West Brom go to these places and attack

Well seeing as it was football related and in no way derogtary I dont know why they couldnt just debate it on the thread.

Ive seen Tan called a "japanese faced tw@t" on here last couple of days but say Malkys football is playing for a point and like watching paint dry and it is deemed offensive??

We have some strange people on here ay.

Yep thats them but conceded less and have 2 points more hence at present they are finding a better balance

Changed your mind since yesterday have you Paulie

no i agree totally, its frustrating that we cant seem to "have a go" at these sides. Villa was by no means the "easy three points" some on here have suggested, but looking at how the game panned out, pretty much every side in the division have individuals who can do something special like Bakuna did, if that happens then we are basically screwed because we struggle to score goals.

We pretended to celebrate the goals, I saw us lose 6-1 at Port Vale and we sang George Woods name at the end of the game and clapped our team off

Nope. Any idiot can see we dont create anything. Saying we should ve more like hull is pushing it tho. Far easier run of fixtures for them this season

And they have played at home to west ham, villa, us, norwich and sunderland. 5 games we would all be classing as winnable. Think its 3 wins 2 draws isnt it?

In contrast all our home games have been against top of of the table sides, Newcastle was a little disappointing but apart from that we still have all the teams who will be around us to play at home. Away to the top sides doesnt matter as u cant expect your points from those games.

And despite their rather easy run of fixtures at home they have scored the same amount of goals as us, needed an own goal and 2 red cards to beat sunderland, and have scored a couple of penalties too.

I see no reason we wont finish above them this season

What the f**k has own goals and penalties got to do with it they still count as goals?

Does Jordan Mutches goal against Chelsea count any less cos it was an horrendous back pass and not a goal we worked ourselves??

With the players weve got there is no reason why we shouldnt finish above Hull but will Malky get 11 points out of 15 against the teams Hull have played at home, with his current philosophy of playing for a nil nil and hoping to nick a goal from a set piece??

We shall see.

Re: Why has my song thread been locked?

Fri Nov 15, 2013 9:22 am

Will we get 11 out of 15 that hull did? Probably not. But will hull win away at fulham? Will they win at home to swansea or man city?

The course of thw season is what matters not the individual matches.

You are right, own goals count just as well as any goal, just trying to make the point that this balance you talk about that hull have doesnt exist, more winnable games, and 2 more points to show for it. Having scored the same amount of goals. Meanwhile our main striker hasnt kicked a ball.

Yes there are issues with our side, its not perfect and malkys tactics certainly dont make great viewing, but hull are hardly setting the world alight either.

You are the one who brought the run of games into it  Will we beat Newcastle away? We couldnt beat them at home employing the tactics we currently employ?

Not saying Hull are world beaters but given the money theyve spent they are doing better than what we have with the money we have spent.
