o/t Boliler repair urgent

I'm hoping that one of my fellow Bluebirds can help this old timer (watching the city since 1958 !) I recall a few weeks back that someone put a topic on this site re boiler repairs and I seem to remember someone posting a contact number for two guys that eventually did the work without ripping the person off. Can anyone let me know the name / contact number of the said plumbers because my son (down on his luck at the mo) and his partner have a one month old baby and the boiler has stopped working so no hot water / heating. So obviously this is a priority before the cold weather sets in especially with the baby being so young. I will pay for any work as long as it is fair and they are registered gas safe or whatever they call corgi now.

ps forget to mention the house is in the Adamsdown area of Cardiff so obviously it would be someone local

Think that was me ---- Yes --- I Rang an engineer from Google who was busy--so he passed me on to a lad called Chris --he and his mate came over straight away --Theyy were in a decoraters van so i dont think they were corgi plumbers ---- but they contacted the expert bloke and he came over and diagnosed the problem---they fitted new exctractor pump -- for 130 quid--- ii checked and the pump was neraly £100 on e bay so they did me a good price ---- 30 quid labour

Had to call someone out freezing our knobs off --Took a chance with a google search
Luckily two great young lads called out and sorted it --Turns out it was the
extractor pump was gone--new pump 100 quid 30 quid labour --cant argue with that great service

Mafor do you have the original number that you called (from the Google site) because I just rang the number you gave me
and it was a heating engineer but he's based in Yorkshire. His name is Buddy and doesn't know anyone called Chris from the Cardiff area - many thanks
