' PHILIPPINES DISASTER '

Tue Nov 12, 2013 10:33 am

Annis has been kind enough to let me ask here on the board for help for the Philippines, NOT MONEY!

As Im married to a Filipino we are both involved with the FCIC Filipino Community In Cardiff
https://www.facebook.com/fcic.wales?fref=ts

This Community is asking Blankets, Clothes & shoes of all ages, Pots & Pans , Can Foods including powdered milk , also Baby Food & Dried baby Milk. ( Flash lights Tourch ), body Soap shampoo , tooth past, Plastic plates, and cups.

Some of the Filipinos who live here in Cardiff and work as Nurses & care workers all in the caring professions have family back in Tacloban and remember there is more Islands that we still don't know about yet. If you would be willing to give please,do so.
These people come here to help in our hospitals and care for our sick , now lets help them too.
Diolch yn Fawr Thank You so much

I just had a look at the FB page but couldn't find anywhere that mentioned a drop off point for any of the required things. If you can post up a drop off place here I will make sure it is advertised in our village.

There is a group of Filipinos here in Cardiff & they are now selling tickets cost £5 and you can win a TV
Its Run bye the FCIC , Filipino Community In Cardiff, The Chairman is Henry Montoya. They feel that donations are good but they also want to give back to people who do contribute, So rather than just give without getting anything, You can win a Tv and I do believe there are 2nd and 3 rd place prizes too.
