The same villa who went to the current league leaders, on the first game of the season and WON.

You've had a good start, and tbh better than I thought, and definitely think you'll stay up

Ncfc1, I think most would have taken a point going to Villa. The thing is they hadn't scored for a while and were generally poor, the crowd were very restless and the feeling was that we could have perhaps been a little more positive and gone for it.
They were vulnerable defensively and we didn't get at them enough to take advantage of it.

The Villa who had currently won ONE game at home all season and has numerous injuries.

Villa with all their injuries, were there for the taking, cardiff had control in the first half, but didn't cause villa any problems in the final third,we can't rely on free kicks and corners to score goals

Fair enough VL, but I think you've had more than a reasonably good start, and you haven't played any of the bottom 3 yet, if you'd lost to palace not villa, then there would be a case of getting worried IMO.You've beaten the richest club in the world, beat the JB's, and went and won at Fulham who are usually excellent home but shite away, so as far as i'm concerned, you've had a great start and will stay up without a prob. I predict a comfortable 13th or 14th finish

I think we'll stay up too and agree with what you say, a point or 3 on Sat we're achievable though which would have reduced our target.
I'm not sure about 13th or 14th but our season will be defined by our home form where we need to be winning games against the likes of Villa, Fulham, Norwich, etc and definitely Hull, Palace & Sunderland

A young Villa team crippled with injuries, woefully out of form, hadnt scored for months and we set up as if we were playing Man City away, didnt make their keeper work once and nearest we come to scoring was an OG from their centre half.

The same Villa who were in relegation zone all of last season.

Yeah that Villa.
