IMO yes. They just aint getting the service when they play.

From what I see of Maynard I think we will need to get rid of him next season if we do stay up. Really sad as we didn't get to see him much last season.

yes both can do a job but they need to have another striker alongside them but under malky that wont happen very often but maybe if corneilus hits the ground running we could see a partnership with one of them alongside him

Yes, they're good enough - just not getting enough chances served up for them. The long balls over the top for them to chase aren't doing them any favours.

To be fair to them I don't think they have been given hardly any service to show what they are capable of doing at this level

How much do you think we will get for the two of them, not many top quality strikers about in January and would they want to come to us with the way we set up up for each game

maybe 2m for the pair im not really sure.


And we are a premier league club, there will be plenty of people who want to play for us.

i think campbell is def good enough i can't say i've seen enough of maynard to make a judgement at this level but when he has come on he has looked sharp

maynard twice has been overlooked now and hes 26 going on 27. west ham sold him for relitively cheap and allerdyce is no mug he must of felt he is not upto it.

I think its fair to say campbell wont score many in the premier league if you compare benteke, michu, lambart, from potential mid table sides around us.
if you give us michu up front or benteke/lambert I think we would be comfortably beetween 10th - 14th

I think Campbell could be given some kind of service, I think he does pretty well up top on his own considering the scraps he works on.

Maynard I don’t think has enough about him, not strong enough for the premiership, lacking that extra needed at this level.

But in fairness to any of our strikers if we play 5 in midfield and pretty much use them all in a defensive manner then its mission impossible. We could have Messi upfront but with no service and no support its pointless.

Campbell is definitely a prem striker. Fucked a few of his chances admittedly this season but his performances against City, when he came on against Swansea prove it.

Campbell yes, but difficult to assess Maynard due to his lack of playing time. Both are good back up/squad players for us.

Still think Campbell can cut in a different system, Maynard, not so sure although to be fair he's hardly been given a chance and a very poor service.

maynard needs a couple of starts. then judge him.

I really hope so, time will tell but not sure we have the time, but it would help if they got some decent service
