Are we guilty of supporting Malky because.....

Sun Nov 10, 2013 6:46 pm

He's the only connection between the fans and the club?

To me it seems that win lose or draw Malky is a hero, regardless of his tactics and ideas!

Are we all supporting and sticking buy Malky because it a side to take against tan?

Are we in directly using Malky as a way to get under tans skin?

Or do we all, genuinely think that Malky will keep us up and take us into the top half of the table in years to come?

I think it's a debate that need to be had

This year is about staying up. If we do, Malky will have money to strengthen and offload the championship players and upgrade them with quality Prem players. Mid table next year, build from there, who knows?

But for now, Malky's job is to keep us in the Premier League

Yes. Because Malky delivered us the Championship after years of failure some are so infatuated and in love with him that even if he took a piss against their door they'd dub it holy urine and go and get a jar from the kitchen to try and collect it in.

Some of our fans love Malky more than the club. There were plenty willing to give up supporting the club if he were to be sacked which is shocking.

Managers come and managers go (just like players) but Malky will/should ALWAYS have a special place in our hearts, as HE delivered the dream on the playing front and that FACT can never be taken away :malky: :malky:

I think some people are using as an excuse to have a go at Tan tbh.

Alternatively I do think he is a good manager and will keep us up as long as he realised the team v villa was stupid.

I agree. I appreciate Malky's work the last two years but I'd never walk away from Cardiff just because he went. I'd just get behind the new manager.

Malky actually sealed the deal, so he has major kudos with the fans....

He has assembled a group who will run through walls for him. I think you only get rid of the manager if the players are not playing for him, this is clearly not the case. Whether Malky has the guile and knowledge to spend in the off season to make us safe mid table is debatable.

Ask Stoke fans if they prefer Tony Pulis's mid table but boring or Mark Hughes "exciting" passing style possibly in the championship.

Malky says the right things and if he keep us up his stock rises and he will be off of his own choice

I do feel the majority of us believe Malky would keep us up and if he left whoever we got would take us down. More of better the devil you know I suppose.

Think the OP is not far off to be fair.

Malky since day one realised the Fan base could be his greatest ally and a very effective weapon for him.

The "Fans will forgive losing but they won't forgive not trying" won over a fair few doubters. He joined when there was Alan Shearer and Martin Oniels named being branded about a lot.

I for one had my doubts, I thought he had great potential and just needed a good club but I didn't think Cardiff would be it.However since he arrived the club has made massive strides and I'm not talking about Premier league.
The whole outlook on the club changed, we became more professional on and off (especially off) the pitch.
Gone were the days of players stepping out of line,Stories being leaked right left and centre. He changed the face of the club and made it (us) better in so many ways.

For that he will always be remembered fondly by myself and I can imagine a whole host of Cardiff Fans.

His Tactics drive me insane......

But I would never call for his head...
