Fighting in the Millenium Stadium

My mate is a steward done the Millenium Stadium, he said during the Wales v SA rugby match there was several fights amoungst supporters in the stands, he said that one he broke up was a flat out fist fight between two Wales fans.

Talk about double standards, no mention about it in the press.

Rugby can do no wrong, always been the same. I remember back in division 2 and Wales were playing. We saw two women flat out scrapping and the police just pulled them apart laughing, no arrests or anything. Now if this was football it would have been treated differently

I saw a comment on Facebook about it. Some egger was complaining about the fighting and said "What's with all the fighting ,we're rugby fans not football fans "

Then they'll Photoshop the faces of the two involved so that they're smiling before putting a few floating love hearts above their head and Cupid in the background with the headline 'ROMANCE KEEPS WELSH SPIRITS HIGH'.

Football

First sentence of the article: 'Over 70,000 fans watch on as another fan tries to behead the other using a sledgehammer of a punch.'

They'd Photoshop in extra blood and include some gore, the headline would be WORLD WAR 3 BREAKS OUT ON TERRACES and they'd put a picture of Satan in the background smiling.

Hi-jinx

You compare the rugby and what it brings on the weekend in terms of everyone in pubs getting hammered and fighting etc it never gets mentioned.

More trouble at a Wales game than our home games.

There was a fight by me during the second half in full view of the TV cameras. Someone came back from the bar with a tray of 4 beers, asked a guy if he could pass to which the guy just ignored him, when the guy with the beers went to push pass his beers spilt. I wrote on Facebook last night, that the atmosphere at rugby is much more Aggressive than the press make out. It felt weird sitting next to the missus, while a South African fan was shouting for the other team. Luckily the tickets were free and can't see myself paying to go watch a game.
