Just getting good feedback means the world to me

You could at least smile for your photo on the front cover

I haven't said anything on the author of the books as most of the threads are locked and I've never been the type to leave any feedback on ebay, amazon etc as it isn't me. I have hundreds of books in my personal Library at home and I read non fiction, have done and always will do, I can't be doing with fiction rubbish apart from films as you can't beat a good movie.
What I noticed about the author (Annis Abraham) is that people and journalist alike is that they judge him on seeing him in the news years a go as being a football thug, meat head and a terrible person in society which I found a bit out of order as none of them knew him in person and are judging a book by it's cover without actually without knowing the person. What gives people the right to judge individuals without knowing facts or the persons background?
I'm no angel myself and in fact had people judging me by the book cover without indulging inside to see if I was the terrible person that they all believed I was until I started meeting people in the community for Sunday roasts in the beer gardens and people were introduced to me by Sarah, Lisa and a few others. These people couldn't believe that they were sitting with me, it was like, my god, you are 'X', then it was you aren't nothing like what we've heard about you, well I'm not a monster, just a normal person like you but we have different cultures and I've mixed with wrong people (Not saying what wrong people I mixed with) but I'm human.
I remember sitting indoors when the Euros was on and seeing the author on TV and them saying this man is this and that and was allegedly a member of the notorious Cardiff City soul crew and I became intrigued about the soul crew hence me buying 2 books from the author because as years went by this firm became like the free masons, a secretive cult that no one really knew who was the leaders but then they became national news and everyone wanted to know even me, I used to think, who are they.
BBC started going under cover to find out who was who and it was great stuff for us viewers and when I joined this site then I noticed books for sale and noticed the author had his own site so I decided I'll by his personal Autobiography to see what he's really like, I never judge a book by its cover so wanted to find out about him and what a great read it was. I wasn't interested in the football side of things as I read that in the other books but more importantly about himself, parents, bushiness, growing up moving to Bradford, culture. I enjoyed his book immensely and the book proved me right, never ever judge someone by what you read or hear.
Only thing I would like to criticize is the photo on the book, that picture is enough to give people nightmares at night.
Good read.

Which ones?
I think I was very honest and Respectful to Newport, even if to me you were more my rival than Swansea ever were.
Newport have a chapter in My Story.
As to the Soul Crew Books, if you have read them correctly and depending which one, you will see some of the stories are other lads stories, which I believe were fair.

yes, I've read both the dole crew books when I was in sharm last year. Can't remember which book it was now, but there was a small piece in one of them, when a few Cardiff lads, came to Newport one night and there was an altercation by the bus station.
In the book, it is claimed that Cardiff came out on top, and if that's the case, i'd hate to see it, when you got turned over

, but nevertheless I enjoyed reading them.
ps Very nice of you to mention my mate lemy bullock(rip)

5 of us got badly done in your bus station one night. I think you better read my side of the stories in My Story, not a sales pitch either.
As to Lemy, yes we were arch enemies in the football world, but to me we were just lads growing up and it was part and parcel of the football world back then and as you must know I know many Newport lads and deep down, I have a lot of Respect for them, a lot more than I have for Swansea as at least you always turned up.

I'll have to get that then before I go to Cyprus next year(only ever can be bothered to read books when i'm on hols)
Noticed plenty of city fans by their accents at RP this season,( not necessarily ex-hoolies,) and great to see. Can't see why you and and other old school don't come and watch the county when city haven't got a game. you wouldn't have any problems off lads our age as those days are well gone, most of us are grandads ffs.
Pompey Tuesday(be interesting) as they've sold 700 tickets, and we've got pools Friday night. We've got a half decent team, and I think we'll get to the play-offs at least, once we get all our injured players fit. CTID
