CHAOS COACHES YESTERDAY

Sun Nov 10, 2013 9:36 am

Now formally renamed as Ketty's luxury travel, what a day yesterday, three coaches all top of the range, leather seats, fridges, toilets with soap and towels, tea making machine, fridge DVD player, great drivers and twenty quid a man.

Great pub in Bromsgrove and 150 of us gave that pub the best day's takings they'll ever have, some scary people on board, I know them all and was nervous ;)

It wasn't that long ago towns would block roads, shut pubs and put up barriers when we were in town, now they put red carpets out and I love it. So proud that the atmosphere on the bus in the pub and at the ground,it was spot on, great banter, great laugh, no damage, no problems and the landlady stood in the doorway and kissed everyone of us on the way out, and f**k me that must have taken some doing because there was some seriously ugly people among us ( obviously not me, coz she gave me tongue :o )

How times change, from battle bus, to chaos tours to luxury travel, Gwyn Davies, loving model football. :old:

Gwyn sounds like a great trip. I supposed if they had rolled out a blue carpet instead of the red one then it might have been perfect. :ayatollah:

Got to be honest, don't think I heard one of the 150 lads there mention anything to do with colour, like me I'm sure these lads who for the most I have traveled with and known for years don't need a colour or a badge to bond and feel part of things, we all belong and that sense of belonging goes far deeper than colour name or badge, our identity is what we are, been with most of them through every division and every trauma, and sharing that binds people together, some people need things to prove identity, others don't need to prove it, they just feel it. :ayatollah:
