I thought that Villa were poor today and we did not take advantage of playing a poor team. We had plenty of possession however we never looked like scoring except for a couple of half chances.
One thing that stands out in every game that I have seen this year is that all of our opponents shoot at very opportunity whereas we always seem to be far too frightened to shoot. No one wants to take the responsibility of taking a shot. I wish would drum into the players to get some shots on target. Test the goalie, there may be a fumble or deflection. If you don't shoot you don't score.

I don't buy into these possession and shots in target stats, watching a game can tell you more.

I can't remember our last clear chance at goal which we built up. Not including set pieces. I think it was Fulham. It's not good mind. Malky needs to start playing two up front and drop gunner and Cowie.

Agree, the worry is the lack of chances we create.
Stats can say anything, we could hit the post 10 times in a game er dominate and it could say we had no shots on target.
I don't think it matters how many we have upfront but if it's 1 and 5 in midfield you need midfield players and wide players pushing forward and helping the striker. We had no one today to help Odemwingy who himself must have thought a hiding to nothing.
