Just a quick post to say that I think Hudson appears to be a top pro. Caulker arrives and last year's Championship winning captain finds himself on the bench. Many others would be moaning and bleating, but he is getting on with his role as club captain, supporting the team and awaiting his chance. Well done Mark!

Always liked Hudsons attitude.
When he first game and looked a liability hence getting negative responses from the fans he never reacted in a disrespectful way towards the supporters. He carried on playing to his best ability and won us over.
Now he faces a bigger challenge and that is to win a starting lineup place. I for one hope he does it.

Agreed, one of the few times I hope players read message boards.

Quick story on Huds, my dad had a heart attack in April and missed the last 3 games. The celebration matches. I rang the club and asked if my dad could visit the trophy room. Mark Hudson visited my dad at home with the trophy and stayed for an hour chatting to my mum and dad. An absolute gent and legend.

Mark Hudson is an absolute legend. I've been out on the town with him and a few other players drinking and he is one of the most humble, down to Earth blokes you will ever come across. He also regards himself as a Cardiffian, loves the place and says its the true home of his daughters and so on.
To the poster above I hope your dad has had a great recovery and all the best to him in the future.

He was fantastic last season and he is great off of the pitch (as the pic above shows) top class guy. Got a lot of abuse when he first joined but it is fantastic to see him get praised.
