If Tan goes

Fri Nov 08, 2013 10:40 am

What makes everyone think that anybody would want to run the club? all this protesting is no good, a buyer might look at it and think sod this, if i put to many sugars in my tea they might protest against that. Best thing to do is to keep wearing blue and if the 90% of the crowd are wearing it, maybe just maybe it will show tan that blue means alot to this club. Its not good having immature people shouting tan out all the time, thats no good to the players or the manager. A new owner themselves could come in and sack malky, get rid of half the players and say i want these, and the biggest point is that how do a you no a new owner would change us to blue anyway?

Re: If Tan goes

Cant see a new owner doing that ,they would be getting a premiership team with a good stadium and expansion and after hearing what the last owner has done ,best way for them to come on board would be embrace the fans ,unlike what our present owner hasn't done .

Tan will not leave without getting some of his money back so he will have to sell to someone .

Ooops sorry! There is all of us out here thinking that anyone who takes over CANNOT be as mad as the emperor.

Point is, come may we might not be a prem team, the fanbase will go down because glory hunters dont want to see us in the championship, it could all go wrong, thats just imo.

Football is a Business,Think some of our fan base are forgetting that.
Tan does not care about The Fan Base. He has alluded to that point in previous speeches.
He had a plan and he is carrying it out to full effect.Whilst some supporters will revolt and completely walk away from the club others will accept reluctantly or not and for every fan that walks out 3 more will walk in.
That's the price of success. It's not new it's always been that way.
In the 50's & 60's we could get 50,000 at some games then in the 80s and 90s as little as 1500.
What would Manchester United Celtic or Barcelona's attendances be if they were lower league and unsuccessful?

Tan will see numbers and figures,Like any other owner or potential owner, facts and figures seal any deal.

Tan will have a light at the end of this RED tunnel of his, that light will glow to the tune of Millions.

Nor did I suggest that you said it. :? You stated that we could lose our prem status if Tan left & whilst that would be bad, the return of our traditional identity would far outweigh that for me.

It could all go wrong with Tan in charge & be without a club that way!

Re: If Tan goes

yes i agree it could wrong either way, but what im trying to say is that people on here are saying that this club could be huge and be competing in europe every year, and its the same people that are trying to force him out when hes the best chance we have of making it that far, hes a clever buisness man, and i believe if he was here in 5 years time we could be a top 6 prem league ever year, YES I WANT BLUE, said that from day one and in my eyes he would be a absolute legend if it wasnt for the rebrand

Here we go......

We are Cardiff City in the prem, he wants to see Cardiff in the prem no matter what colour...
Why should he support Man U?

& what I'm trying to say is that many fans on here would also prefer to see a return to our traditional identity, rather than your notion that we could be top 6 in five years time.

If he puts premiership football over the clubs traditional identity, then I find that sad. So if premiership football matters to him than the clubs true identity, go support Manchester Utd.

Re: If Tan goes

& if he's got some pride in supporting Cardiff, rather than just any other premiership team, he should also have some pride and respect for the clubs traditional identity... Rather than being happy about some mega-lo-maniac coming along with a wrecking ball and stupid dragon.

u havent listen to what i said, i want blue back now, would i rather be blue then in 5 years time be top 6 then the answer is yes, but i would rather have both, blue colours and a very succesfull team

I have, but if you're expecting Tan to turn us back blue, then you're dreaming.

Yes, it's a very stupid dragon. We've always had one, but it's not been the dominant figure on the crest.

That is his own personal choice, you are in no position to tell anyone who to support.
I find it sad you think you can dictate and tell people what to do.

its still the identity of cardiff tho, doesnt matter how big or how small. be careful what you say to him, he might press the report button on you

Everyone wants an owner who will listen to the fans... namw a big British club where the happens....United, arsenal, spurs, Chelsea, liverpool, non of them embrace the fans. Any new owner of a premiership club does it for money. They don't care about fans.

It's not much to ask that the club plays in it's rightful colours.

did i say we are called dragons no i didnt? are cardiff called cardiff dragons no they are not. if you listen and read properly im sayin that the dragon has always been on a shirt/crest, so why should this year be any different

The Premier League is not the be all and end all to be honest.

Who said I wanted the dragon gone? If you listen and read properly, I'm saying that the dragon hasn't been the dominant symbol & shouldn't be as we are the bluebirds.

Yes, I think VTs dragon (the one that protects the bluebird according to him) is stupid.
