Legends CCFC

My dad he took me to all the games,just like his dad before him,
From Grange to Bob,Canton and Grand we would all stand and sing.
A fellow was good sir jimmy they say he was a damn good fellow,
A darling bud of May that's Eddie, with passion but still quite mellow.
We won we lost we drew as well, but we all know what we rather,
A Schoular, A Giant,a gentle one, A Murray the Don Godfather.
A hometown boy done good they say but now he flys the gooner,
A sure rare sight, up in top flight, they should've been there sooner.
The pride the passion has never left,it's always there to see,
A twist a turn a cheeky chip,sideburns that flip a v.
Tales that sprout those arms and legs and grow ever so tall,
From Rich to skint in seconds flat, we've seen and heard it all.
This is no tale of fairy dust, but coal that cuts diamonds finer,
We will be there from capital, we'll be there said once a miner.
It's safe to say a club is mould from where its people lay,
The Rhonda,The Mount,Bridgend and Vales above and underneath,
Even out west they seem to come, Pembroke and eve Neath.
This is a club built by many, it's the core from the heart of the fan,
And cannot be spoilt or ignored,by the board or a single man.
This is no race this is no creed this is no place for colour,
This is a club our family,a father,sister brother.
We have a days we wish we lost and ones we don't regret,
Where dreams to win they did come Real,no man could he forget.
This isn't a place for one time stories, but many from different times,
The 20's to the naughties, the punishment and crimes.
We have at times played dirty,when we couldn't dare play cleaner
We played cup finals won and lost,a statuesque lord Keenor.
A fair assessment would be just,but not difficult to say,
You and i are Cardiff forever,there is no other way.

You found a carry out left on the bus didn't you??? as far as legends go mine were/are, Ian Gibson, Phil Dwyer and Willie Anderson, great, great city players of the past. (phone me tony when you get a chance )

Mine were Gibbins,Griffith,Dale,Stant,Psycho,Searle
Others have come but they were my originals.

Could've named dropped loads of players Paul, and will add to the ode eventually.
