Are we going to get any more tickets for Stoke away or have we only asked for the minimum again?
Some lively trips there in the past. 1999 relegation game sticks in the mind.
The win in the playoffs there was great - the second leg less so - and the Ricardo Fuller show in the last league trip there in about 2007. It was after our great start to the season but it was just petering out when we went to Stoke and got stuffed.

The home leg of the playoff game was my first real disappointment in footie, must have been about 12 at the time, it kicked off after the game if I remember rightly?

Yes, I agree, but the away leg was superb!
We won that game at a time when we had Peter 'Magic Hat' Thorne and Graham Kavanagh in our side and I fondly recall their fans fighting amongst each other out of pure frustration; with our guys giving a comical rendition of "Sit down and behave yourselves" as the police moved in to quell the Stoke fans

The away allocation for this has been pathetic considering its a short drive. We would of sold 2100 easy

I remember them fighting among themselves in the play off game. I was in the home end with some mates from the Midlands who hate Stoke. We managed to keep our excitement under control at our goals which was just as well as it kicked off just yards from us between some psycho looking oatcake eaters. Dunno what it was about but was cacking it a bit in case we were rumbled.

You're right Bobby. Can't believe City didn't take the 2100 - or is there still a chance they will? I've got 4 mates desperate to go who missed out.

problem is that the club lost alot of money last year due to the demand, our away support was piss poor considering we was top most of season, where have all these people come from now, makes you laugh really
