Taking the piss or what?

I've had nearly enough of English football and will start go to watch games abroad as it's cheaper, Yes it's cheaper and will be for me. We're all being taken for mugs and I'm not having it any more. Feel free to blast me, call me what you want but I'm not not paying prices anymore for what we're being charged. I'm fucked off with the whole thing. Our club call us Customers now instead of fans, well Barber, go f**k yourself you c**t.

It isn't just us at BHAFC but all clubs from all over the country are ripping fans off and it needs to be stopped.

Tried to buy a Palace - Cardiff again today and was quoted £70 then £13.50 tax then £7.50 delivery which worked out at £90 . Taking the piss or what.

Same site and I bought a Chelsea - Palace ticket in the north stand for £22 plus tax etc for £32 which is ok.


I brought a AC Milan - Inter Milan derby ticket today for £31 for the 04 May 2014 derby -15:00 KO ** and return with Easy Jet for £47. £78 grand total. Germany is cheaper so why can't we be as well.

We're being ripped off big time and something needs to be done unless you are happy with prises and they will rise again next season. Are you happy with prises?

It is getting a rip-off. Cheltenhams cheapest ticket is £23 in a few weeks time for league 2 football ffs. I just hope we do the same to them and increase the price from £18

They aren't going to reduce the prices while the stadium is full every week. People will pay what they think it is worth. If you can't afford it, don't pay it.

The clubs and SKY TV want middle class people who can afford to pay more because they are less likely to cause trouble and tarnish the money-making cash-cow that football has become.

Mind you, I enjoy going to games more now than I have ever done ever since I started going in the late 60s - I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

yeah definetly agree,sadly i think some clubs(leeds definetly) also make ticket prices high to deter away fans from travelling,A lot less work for their stewards and the police to do

I agree but that is defeating the object completely wouldn't you say? I mean having extortionate prises deters fans from attending meaning less match day revenues. Cheaper prices means more fans and more fans spending money on merchandise and having a full stadium which creates a good atmosphere which results in people coming back for more.

When I asked why so few she said it's far too expensive for most people so they don't bother and watch the game in the bars. My project manager was aghast that I'd actually go to the game due to previous trouble let alone take a lady. Atmosphere was great, football was shite, Levski (the Blues, right wing lot) won and I walked back into town through a load of CSKA fans without a hint of trouble, had a few beers with fans of both teams in several bars.

I'm currently in Turkey around 20 mins drive (or 7.5 mins in a taxi!!) from Trabzonspors ground, only been there once so far but if they get a result against Warsaw tonight in the Europa League they'll be through to "knock out" stages when the the teams dropping out the Champions League come in. No idea of the ticket prices as I'll be invited as a guest so hoping for the JB's

It was around ten quid or so for two tickets, can't remember exactly. Bon Jovi played in the same stadium a couple of weeks later and were charging 40 quid upwards, was sold out. The morning of the Bon Jovi gig our partner company's Financial Director asked if I'd like to go with her, shat me pants and dived out. One f*cking fine looking lady but out of my league

Hard to know what their £10 pounds is to the pound without looking on the currency converter which I can't be arsed with but know no one is out of anyones league Willy. People should take people for who they are and not for what they are. Sometimes it can get a bit intimidating because you think they are above you and I've been there but be yourself. 10 pounds is roughly equivalent to errm ten pounds. The cost in Lev, I can't remember, shrapnel money. I have the ticket stubs somewhere, probably in Copenhagen but it was roughly, a guess 4 or maybe 5 leva per ticket, could be out by a factor ten though

Levski only sell out for the games that are not restricted as the ultras can do what they want then. Look on the Levski website there's even a VIP area for them on the stadium map which you will struggle massively to get tickets for unless you know someone who is one. If you're a tourist you'll get told the best place to sit for your safety.

I bought two tickets for the Levski CSKA game from an official ticket selling outlet. I was working in Bulgaria at the time and could have had free tickets full hospitality and all that shite. One of my friends, translator on legal docs, had a brother who was one of Levski's main men, our colleague had a sister, I kid you not, had a brother who was CSKA main man. I went out for a beer and was Sofia v Willy, they were more concerned about me shagging their sister's!!

A good amount of ale was drunk. No leg over for Willy though but I'm still in touch. Probably fecking touched

£10 to watch Levski and the atmosphere is bonkers.

You went to the game in the National Stadium, not Levski's home stadium. I have been going back and forth to Bulgaria for around 10 years and we have a place out there so I know how it is. You went to a derby game that was under the watch of the police the full time. Go to a proper game in the Georgi Asparuhov Stadium and you'll see the difference massively.
