Pacey, skillful, tricky - surely not!

Thu Nov 07, 2013 4:40 pm

I find it hard to believe, as I just can't see Malky going for this type of player, but Aaron Lennon is reportedly a target for Malky.

I can only think that it depends on Andros Townsend kicking on in a Spurs shirt, but as Tan has previously been moaning about we have over spent. If Townsend plays and keeps Lennon out of the side, Lennon could soon follow former team mate Steven Caulker to Cardiff.

Say rather that Lennon is too good to be a bit part player in any side and then you could see why he may become available in january.I'd love to see him down here especially as he would come in nice time to tear the Jacks yet another arsehole and show them what a wide man with an end game can do.

Take him on loan till the end of the season and get him on the cheap. If Malky's so reluctant to use Nooney he'd be a good option :thumbright:

That's one thing I thought he was missing was that end product in his crossing. Ridiculously fast and something we need to relieve pressure on us at times. Lets see what happens

Townsend is a left winger and Lennon is on the right so it depends on whether Lamela settles and adapts to England more than anything.

Townsend's been playing on the right this year.

I'm just wondering if Malky would do that and to be honest I don't think he would.

Lennon is too good for us but an England international like Caulker who will want to play a part and need games to do so.

I know Malky doesn’t play with that type of winger at the moment but IMO its simply because we don’t have one of good enough quality. He tried for Ince and wanted the guy from Ecuador Moreno? so he must see a place for someone of that ilk in the team. Lennon would be idea if we could get him.
