Wed Nov 06, 2013 6:48 pm

Where were you when the dancing back in the 80s - early 90s was going on. Was you into the music scene back in the late 80s early 90s?

I know posters say the only reason why Swansea posters post is because of hits and make Blue ££ but I'm promised a pie and bloody hell its hard work, Got another 2k before I get my free pie :ayatollah:

I was dancing wherever there was a scooter rally. Still am, although these days at my age it's more like shuffling and dreading the ride back home.

They were the days Andy. It used to take me 19 hours sometimes to get home as I had the slowest scooter but no one left me behind which was great. Mates stick together no matter what :malky:

Remember coming back from Scarborough and we left in the early hours on the Sunday and we didn't make it home till Monday evening. We ended up on Sunday night in the Yorkshire moors as we got lost but god knows how, 8 in a 2 man tent, never again.

Looking back it was an adventure :malky:

They were all adventures, the ride there was the crack. I seized my engine on the m4 in pissing rain with my mate on the back, how we didn't die I don't know, got off m4 at highcross newport let the engine cool down and took A roads so as to take it easy, mate asked if I knew the way on A roads, I was 18 I knew everything! so off we went, about 4 hours later we were in Birmingham, no problem I hear you say, problem is the rally was isle of wight!!!

I never hear about Garage or dance clubs in Cardiff. We had the ZAP club which won European award back in the late 80s early 90s for best club. What similar clubs do you have you in Cardiff Goats?

I weren't born during the 80's and would have been too young in the 90's for that scene but I do enjoy a lot of the music from that era and have it in my playlist to mix it up with the current stuff. I'm more into trance and vocal trance etc. Its perfect for any moment - clubbing, doing weights, relaxing, etc.
