Chants that are not about Swansea City

Why do so many of our chants focus about Swansea City or their fans? I truly couldn't give a damn about their club and I am far more interested in chants about us. Chants should be a way for us to express the moments and things we are proud of and let the world know.

Where once we watched King Keenor play (and he could play)
We watched Clark as a kid

Even though that is an obvious Liverpool chant rip off its an example of the type of chant we should be aiming for in mentioning our history and preserving it ourselves through chants and making sure these live on to pass down to future generations. People keep saying Tan is taking our identity and history. That's only going to happen if we let him do so. Lets make him aware of what these moments mean to the Cardiff family.

It's not a Liverpool chant. They just put their own words to 'The Fields of Athenry', which is an Irish Republican song, sung by Celtic fans.

We've got plenty of our own songs, which don't mention Swansea.

That's just football. You show up your rivals at any given turn

Goto Spurs or Arsenal and %50 of the singing is "Stand up if you hate Arsenal"... "Stand up if you hate Tottenham"... We're definitely not as repetitive as some of these...

What about "With my little pick and shovel"? That's got to be about the most unique football song about?

Hardly any of our songs are about Swansea TBH, When we do sing them it's because we hate them and they hate us.

If we start singing any of the cringeworthy rubbish in this thread I will know CCFC is dead. When will the internet geeks on here realise that songs are often made off the cuff in the pubs and terraces.
