Williams is spot on, we're all disappointed with the performance on Sunday, but it happens, there we go, move on! Fans having a go at Williams is well out of order.
That said, why footballers leave themselves open to that type of nonsense on twitter is beyond me?

Seems like the jacks whole world has crumbled since sunday and they're looking for anyone to blame, but the truth is, they were outplayed by the better team who wanted it more. They shouldn't grumble though.. They've had three years of rubbing our noses in it. Our turn to gloat for the next few months at least

Do you know what, you're spot on! The reaction down here is astounding, like we had some god given right to just turn up on Sunday and walk away with 3 points. For whatever reason, our performance was disappointing on Sunday, but after 30 years of watching the Swans, losing an away match in the Premier League isn't the end of the world.
I'm as gutted as anyone with Sunday's result, and I sincerely hope we put things right in a few months time, but having fans having a go at players like Williams who has given us years of great service is embarrassing.
Enjoy gloating for the next few months, Hopefully it will be our turn next

Fair play, honest comment but the reaction by your fellow fans is nothing compared to what would have happened had you turned us over. The anti-Malky fans have taken a week off but they'll be back next time we lose.

I think the recent influx of newbies has magnified the disappointment. I work in Bridgend with 60% 40% split between Cardiff and Swansea. The new fans ( since the playoff final) were giving it large to me last week, whereas the real jacks were saying they were equally not looking forward to the game as they knew anything could have happened. They are the ones who were pragmatic and saying we wanted it more, the newbies blamed their players and even laudrup (although we are not unknown to have the same massive over reaction are we

)

I hate it when people have a go at individual players.

years ago there was talk of us signing Williams, Im sure dave Jones had the chance to get him as he was at one of his former clubs, stockport was it? Anyway, he didnt and he ended up signing for swansea even though we were a league higher maybe.
He would have been good for us, a bit like gabbidon, altho we did have players like roger johnson and loovens back then. I think ashley has proved himself at the top whereas the others havent so much.

I'd say it's more 70-30 Cardiff in Bridgend as a whole. Only as you get further west do you see more jacks. Porthcawl is say is about 60-40 Cardiff.

A couple of great posts on this thread.
Why do players put themselves in the situation to say these things.
And are the new type of fans all to ready to heap blame.
Its fueled by the media, the need for instant gratification and it will be our turn again soon enough.
But until then...... one nil to your capital!

The amount of stick poor Ash is getting youd think hes english or something
Agree that our fans can be as bad though. I heard quite a few people around me going nuts about malkys team selection, cowie getting called every name under the sun. One fellow was even convinced Tan had picked that side

He bigged up Swansea all week that Swansea fan.
