MY POOR DOG (TOBY) IS BRICKING IT AGAIN

Poor pooch, mine used to be terrified of fireworks and thunder and no matter what you tried to do to comfort her she would still shake like a leaf and run behind the chair. It was aweful, we took her to the vet in the end and they gave her some calming tablets which did help a little...

might not help anyone who has an adult dog now but if you have a new pup play the sounds of fireworks,Hoovers and any other noises they may come into in the future. At this age everything is new to them and you can desensitise them , this is what I did with my dog and she doesn't bat an eyelid at the fireworks

That's what we did with the kids, we had home births and pretty much as soon as they popped out I had the Hoover on, they sleep through everything.

Fireworks night is a tradition in this country and forever may it continue. Tonight is the only night I will ever let fireworks off, any over date be it yesterday or tommorrow is just being selfish in my opinion.
