Cardiff City midfield star Gary Medel will go face to face with Premier League superstar strikers Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge at Wembley on Friday week.
The Bluebirds' form midfielder, they call 'El Pitbull', usually plays in the centre of defence for Jorge Sampaoli's team and is in for a tough evening against Roy Hodgson's all-star frontline.
Also the midfield kingpin will be able to perform an on-field scouting mission for Malky Mackay with clashes against Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool coming up for the Bluebirds squad currently flying high after Sunday's South Wales derby win.
The South Americans, who face World Cup hosts Brazil in Toronto the following week, claimed their spot at next summer's World Cup last month, after Medel scored in a 2-1 win over Ecuador, securing automatic qualification to next summer's showpiece.
They will now step-up their preparations for Brazil 2014 at Wembley on Friday, November 15, before travelling to Canada to take on the World Cup hosts in Toronto, on Tuesday, November 19.
Medel's fellow Bluebirds midfielder Kim Bo Kyung has also been called up by South Korea for their upcoming matches against Russia and Switzerland.
Already qualified for next summer’s World Cup, South Korea will welcome Switzerland on Thursday, November 14, before facing Russia on Monday. November 18.

glad there is no long trip for him this time, has looked a bit sluggish in matches following international games.
