' Cardiff City refuse to accept fine after Premier League bust-up with Norwich City '
Tuesday 5th Nov 2013.

Both teams were charged with failing to control their players after Canaries star Leroy Fer kicked the ball into the empty Cardiff net, moments after David Marshall kicked the ball out for Alex Tettey's injury.

Cardiff City have refused to accept a fine after the melee that ensued at the end of their Premier League clash with Norwich City.

Both teams were charged with failing to control their players after Canaries star Leroy Fer kicked the ball into the empty Cardiff net, moments after David Marshall kicked the ball out for Alex Tettey's injury.

Both teams charged with the same breach but, while Norwich accepted the fine, Cardiff rejected the standard penalty.

A non-personal hearing will now determine the penalty.

The Canaries were today fined the standard penalty of £20,000 after admitting a breach of FA Rule E20(a) in relation to their game.
