Horrible chant in Canton Stand

Tue Nov 05, 2013 12:15 am

Heard a few lads try and get this started in Canton 106 yesterday, which is sickening. I hate the Jacks with a passion, just as much as anyone else, but this crosses a line. This isn't banter. Glad it never took off.

"Angel Rangel, we wish you were dead."

Why were they chanting that? I was in the Canton and I didn't hear it so it must've literally only been a few.

Get a grip and stop being such a wuss. I am sure no-one really wished him dead.

Fans have chanted "Let him die, let him die, let him die" when opposition players go down injured for as long as ive been going to football.

Like I said, it never really took off, but there were a few lads doing their best to get it going.

Polo, some people take it too far and you know. Singing "let him die" is a lot different to "we wish you were dead."

Yeah. That's the only truly distasteful chant I heard.

I didnt hear that but i clearly heard a song about a magic hat.
Celebrating black magic or witchcraft has no place in modern football and must be stamped out!

Im doing a march.

Did you moan about Manchester city when they started singing their Munich songs at the start of the season? Like you said it didn't catch on if it was that that was sung so no need to bring it up and tarnish our fans.
