Blakey: I can't stop smiling. I had a few scoops last night. I had a few brandies and dragged myself to bed at 4am.
Cardiff bamboozled Swansea in terms of tactics yesterday. Managers never get enough credit for that.
They didn't fly into tackles and chase Swansea around. Swansea ran out of ideas.
Tucker: I wasn't crying but my mask slipped when Caulker headed the ball into the net.

Blakey: Whittingham is passing the ball to the main player. Medel has turned into the main player but his passing is better than Medel. They can both play testing balls and should do more often.

Blakey: I don't think Odemwingie has the power and pace of Fraizer but bringhing him on was really clever.

Tucker: I thought Malky Mackay got it spot on Sunday. He had them perfectly prepared.

Blakey: Whatever Malky said at half time worked. They penned Swansea in for 15 minutes 2nd half

I wouldn't say Swansea are better man for man. They play into a system, they are very even now.

Tucker: The atmosphere wasn't as intense as Man City.

Blakey: I thought it was brilliant but it was very tense for everybody.

Blakey: I think Malky Mackay would resign if he found another club to go to. What we are seeing, we are lucky to be watching a team that are not broken.

Tucker: IF he was doing this under perfect circumstances, it would be amazing but to be doing what he is doing under this pressure is incredible, It's ruining what should be a perfect moment.
Some Cardiff fans will not forgive senior members of the board for this.
I think if Malky gets the chance he would go to Norwich. And I wouldn't even blame him. Every week Malky is having to front up to the national press and explain the situation not of his making. The people causing the problems are staying silent!
I defy anybody to put up with that week in week out.

Blakey: Don Cowie is a players' player. He doesn't let anyone down, works himself to the bone - a real unsung hero. Him and Theophile were superb down the right.

Rangel's comments pre match showed that his focus wasn't on stopping Cardiff's attack. It was all done to wind up Bellamy and get him sent off. What kind of professionalism is that? He had a silly grin on his face and Craig was never going rise to that.
Their players were not as focused as they should have been.

Tucker: I thought Shelvey had a poor game before the swim away gesture. If he stayed on his post Cardiff would never have scored and his challenge on Medel was terrible.

Tucker: Cardiff will have more confidence than Villa right now.
Blakey: Caulker and Turner will enjoy facing Benteke because he will bring the physical battle to them. I think we go to Villa with far more confidence than they have at home.

Predictions:
Tucker - Aston Villa 1-2 Cardiff City - I can see Gary Medel scoring his first goal.
Blakey - Aston Villa 0-2 Cardiff City - Cardiff have to go there with confidence as the two teams are pretty well matched.
