Controversial owner Vincent Tan said he would not comment when given the opportunity to back manager Malky Mackay at the end of today's win over rivals Swansea City
Controversial Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan was in Cardiff for the first time since the departure of Iain Moody and the resulting furore
Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan said he had "no comment" to make when asked directly whether he fears losing manager Malky Mackay.
Moments after Mackay masterminded a historic South Wales derby defeat of rivals Swansea City, the controversial owner still refused to back his manager, just weeks after sacking his head of recruitment Iain Moody.
When asked about the circumstances behind rookie Kazakh Alisher Apsalyamov replacing Moody, Tan said: "I don't want to explain now. I will explain when the time is right.
"I don't want to add fuel to the fire.
"I will explain when I need to explain and when I am ready to explain."
Speaking about the 1-0 victory over Michael Laudrup's men, Tan added: "Everoyone is very happy.
"It was very peaceful everybody behaved very well inside the stadium.
"I'm very impressed. The atmosphere is great.
"There was a lot of cheering but everybody was well behaved.
"We are very thankful and our guests from Swansea for how well they behaved."
Before today's game, which Tan attended, fans in the Canton Stand unfurled a banner saying "Tan Out" and a protest at the club's colour change to red was held after the celebrations had died down.

Tan is simply a Tyrant and hes out of touch and not capable of running a football club in a successful western domesticated way.
He would of done a better job running along side colonal gadaffi

Suprisingly I didn't see anyone in red singing this this time around... perhaps because the usual red wearers around me where in neutral colours
Alot more chanted this chant this time around but it did get on my nerves in Norwich when these 2 blokes in red started chanting "We'll always be blue" and "blue army".
"We'll always be blue but I wear red" should be their chant![]()
