Thought he was excellent today.
Let play go on when he could and got all of the big decisions right.
Perhaps should have booked Shelvey early on but apart from that he had a very decent game.

Other than him not adding on any time for the sending off I've no other complaints about him.

Missed Shelveys elbow into the back of Whitts head and the push on Cowie which looked a penalty.
Perhaps he'd listened to the bollox from Jenkins.

5 minutes of added time and he played 5 mins 24 secs. Grow up, you we're beaten fair and square, you wouldn't have scored if we were still there now.

The sending off was 30 seconds into added time and just over two minutes were lost before play restarted.
It's highly unlikely we would have scored had that time been added on as it should have been but you never know.

I was happy with Mike Dean's appointment and he controlled the game well by talking to players and asserting is authority when questioned. Even Craig Bellamy backed of a little in the end!

Well it was the Swansea players doing all the time-consuming stuff like arguing with the ref etc - we could only be accused of laughing, I don't think many refs add on much time for that
