just go on microsoft site and download "Microsoft Security Essentials".it's free

I use AVG and they always just send you a free update download option or if you want you can upgrade to the paying option. I have only ever used the free version and never had any issues with them and over 15 years of using them.

NOD32 used to be my choice, but MS Security has improved a lot, leave my AV and FW to them now. No issues at all
