Mods, please ban the op immediately for touting potentially illegal and fraudulent services.

Pension release before age 55 is only permitted for exceptional reasons, such as serious ill health, which is governed by strict criteria.

I manage a self invested pensions business and pension release for under 55's is called Pensions Liberation which is not permitted under FCA regulations and will result in significant tax penalties of at least 55% of the pension fund, plus other potential penalties, in addition to the extortionate fees charged by the company facilitating the early release.

Nobody should ever contemplate pensions liberation unless they have received independent financial advice from an authorised adviser.

Many of the companies operating in this sector are being closed down and fined by the FCA and HMRC then come gunning for the clients that have taken their pension funds early as a lump sum.

The companies who are asked to pay a transfer to a company such as the link above, will also be suspicious because the companies involved are not recognised pension providers so they will either refuse to transfer funds and potentially also tip of TPAS or the FCA.

Don't be a mug, please retain your pension fund with a recognised pension provider. Otherwise, You could end up losing 60-80% of your pension fund.

If you have a final salary pension, which provides a guaranteed level of pension at retirement age, I would go as far as saying never transfer these anywhere without appropriate advise, let alone transfer to release funds early.

The company above will be added to my companies blacklist.

If you have been approached by a pensions release company, you will usually hear terms such as 'if you have a frozen pension we can help you release funds'. Please ignore them, however tempting.

If you have any questions about this please feel free to PM me. I do t provide financial advise, but I can answer questions and steer you in the right direction. Alternatively, simply google Pensions Liberation and you will find plenty of information.
