Zaha and Sterling: Sign Them Up On Loan Malky

Sat Nov 02, 2013 2:39 am

Both would be perfectly suited to us being a counter attacking team.

Look at the threat we could pose on the counter. As we sit in deep often its our best way to hurt teams or get at them and win corners which we can use to our advantage.

Marshall

Taylor
Turner
Caulker
Theo

Whitts (deep playmaker)
Medel (defensive midfielder keeping things ticking over)

Sterling
Kim
Zaha

Odemwingie

That line up there has the tools to damage teams on the counter. Whittingham can play long balls that Sterling, Zaha and Odemwingie can run on to when counter attacking. Sterling and Zaha both have tricky footwork and will win penalties for Whittingham to put away. Odemwingie is playing in his preferred position and Kim can create in the middle and craft moves by linking up with the others in attack.

The best part about it is Malky knows both Rodgers and Moyes well and they will most likely both be available for loan in January. Those two on loan would most certainly make up for missing out on Ince and Montero and give us the cutting edge in attack we most certainly need.

To be honest I think Zaha is vastly overrated and wouldn't be excited by signing him, however I would love to see Sterling here on loan. :ayatollah: :malky:

I'd also think about cheeky bids for either Demba Ba or John Guidetti to complement a decent winger.

They are certainly better than our current crop of wingers. Zaha apparently played very well for united in the cup during the week. Add them to bellamy and odemwingie and suddenly we have options out wide.
