Amused to death is my favourite album, the story told throughout the album is brilliant, my favourite album by any other artist after Michael Jackson of course

I thought Amused to Death was ok.He done the same with Pros and Cons of Hitchiking and told a story throughout the album.

Oh! and Prince pisses all over Michael Jackson

Pros and cons didn't do it for me tbh.

This thread has got me wanting to listen to amused to death again, been a long time since I paid it a visit.

And stop talking nonsense, prince is not in the same league as MJ :malky:

Agree with you about Pros and Cons but never with Prince and Michael Jackson,im afraid ;) MJ was a great performer but Prince was a brilliant musician, could play every instrument,a great songwriter and not a bad performer himself either.MJ was just the man who delivered the lines but with Prince he wrote them, played them and performed them.Just my opinion though aye :D

Pink Floyd are the best band of all time in my opinion, seen them live twice - amazing.
Also went to Roger Waters The Wall in Wembley back in September which was equally as good.
If only they could have settled their differences and toured together a few years back after live 8!!

Johnny Rotten used to say that around the time he joined Malcom Mclaren's manufactured boyband but prior to that he had long hair & wore a Pink Floyd t-shirt.By the end of the 70's Mclaren's boyband were history after getting sussed out on their dreadful tour of America & Pink Floyd topped the charts with Another Brick In The Wall. The Sex Pistols were no different to One Direction.
