Matt Le Tissier

Fri Nov 01, 2013 6:04 pm

In the Penydarren Social Club tonight.

On my way down now in 10 mins should be a good night. He comes across as one of the lads on tv and sure he will have a tale or two to tell.

What a talent as well. Remember he took dogs abuse off us in the league cup at Ninian Park, then murdered us and got applauded off by us and he applauded back.

Didnt see many opposition players get a standing ovation at NP but he was one.

Great player - just like Hoddle he was vastly underused and undervalued by England.

''Southampton wank wank wank, Southampton wank wank wank''
We certainly got a pasting and played wank , Sure it finished 3-0

He could have been one of England's greatest imo had he been given a chance but England, until Roy, have never stuck to giving players at lesser teams a chance. Fair play to Roy, he's had the balls to continuously use Lambert because of his form and not picking names. It might just well pay off for him.

When you say pay off for him what do you mean?
You don't actually think England have a chance of winning in Brazil do you?

Saw him at Rodney parade in may.
My mate bagged us VIP tickets, so was sat on matts table. He would'nt let us put our hands in our pockets all night. Top top bloke, great stories, down to earth bloke who stayed until the early hours. Also said Merson is back on the booze which usually shows on soccer Saturday.

Enjoy him on the Soccer Saturday, comes across quite genuine.. hard to believe he was such a great player.

Some of the goals I seen on a DVD of the best goals in the Premiership are different class.

England didn't know what to do with him so he never made it onto the world stage where his talent belonged.8 caps ffs.Incredible talent he was and i used to love watching him play.He showed great loyalty to Southampton as well cos he could have played anywhere.

Matt let Tissier is a top top bloke, had plenty of time for me and my boy. Not fishing for publicity either he just likes to get involved.
Let's not forget he's probably scored one of the best goals ever in British football!

My mate when we were at the Barry Town do earlier this year having a chat with him came out and said Matt, God you punching above your weight when you pulled that Emily Symons

He pissed himself and said you are not far wrong mate :D
For those who don't know who she is it's Marilyn from home and away and she was in Emmerdale once as well.

Top man is Matt. :ayatollah:

Seems a top bloke and I'd say has scored about 20 of the best goals ever seen in British football. 8-)

His one against Newcastle where he lobs it over a defender twice then volleys it in is my personal favourite although as you say he scored so many worldies I could change my mind if I watched them all again. :D
