Pablo Hernandez out of derby

Big loss for Swansea, he is their best winger

Good news for City, though I'm sure any replacement will be hungry to step up.

I'm guessing we'll be seeing Dyer and Routledge start.

Big blow no doubt. Routledge has been out of sorts for a while. Pablo is different class. But then again lacks a little bit of dog.

I was worried about him he is fast and tricky. Iv never classed Routledge TBH

Aint seen much of him at all. There was loads of speculation when he signed for you saying what a coup he was though etc etc.

Definitely good news. I've read several jacks who were relying on him making the first eleven after impressing off the bench last weekend

I don't think he's the most consistent performer but is definitely a big game player

Tidy, now we could do with Michu picking up a nice little injury

Might be a bluff. I remember Britton was out before the last Ninian Park derby yet played. Hope he does play though.
Medel is not the hard man you think he is. I watch a lot of la liga and he's just a hot head sometimes. He goes crazy kicking things around when getting a red though. I think Michu or Bony will be looking to drag him out wide.

We watch him every game. I think we know what he's like. Just because he hasn't "kicked off" as many expected him too doesn't mean he doesn't love a hard tackle and a good derby match. If Michu or Bony go out wide, then Gunnarsson/Mutch will go with them, not Medel. He stays infront of our centre halfs mainly.

You never know though as if Gary has one of those games then he could ruin the shape of the team. That's key for both sides Sunday. The team that loses shape will be in trouble.
I hope Cañas plays as De Guizman shuts out of tackles.

This certainly aint a game for a lightweight player.

A blow if true. He's been playing well when fit.Routledge has been out of sorts so i was hoping he wouldn't feature, especially in a South Wales derby when he's played for both sides.Pablo is more fearless and will run at you and make things happen.

Looking forward to Michu v Medel. Two serious hotheads, bang on collision course. :D

Must just be me then but he gets on my tits , ok with the ball at his feet passes go all over the shop and doesn't track back to help defend

Don't think he'd have started but he would have come off the bench if we weren't winning.

Hopefully it won't be an issue :thumbright:

Genuinely rather see dyer and routledge play even though routledge has been a bit out if sorts this season , dyer is our best winger without a doubt

He was definitely like that for most of last season but seemed to come good in pre season and the start of this season.I'd rather see Lamah given a shot than Routledge at the moment tbh.

Let's not forget Pozuelo - he can make things happen too. Lovely assist for Michu the other week against the Russians. Wing not his preferred position, but he doesn't give away the ball and has brilliant feet.

We took care of Silva, Negredo and Aguero recently

Your little Maradona would be too much though
