He's deeply bothered. This is a man who desperately wants to be loved and for whom the rebrand is quite a personal thing.

A red shirt is a vote for Tan. A blue shirt isn't. I really feel that Tan does not like being criticised, but he's not used to our country and our way of doing things.

Sven, I honestly think he is bothered, loss of face is a huge thing in Malaysia.
I agree with you when you say he probable doesnt give a shit what message boards say, but, you can bet your arse he cares about the National and International press coverage he has been getting.

You are absolutely correct.

Tan does not give a hoot what City fans think of him or even say but the press, and the national press more so, is where it is hurting him.

Tan is being ridiculed and it has got him flapping and making crazy decisions, he doesn't know which way to turn and like as bend described before he is like a wounded animal and he is dangerous because of it.

If only he could understand what the feelings of the fans are, let the professionals at the club run it and learn how to handle the press instead of being a walking disaster as far as his interviews go.
