Has to be Neath/Swansea/PT.
Although I don't really like the Merthyr accent or North Walien. Only accent I really like is cockney

Yea.
To think about it. I've never wanted to kick a guy from Trowbridge in the teeth when I've heard him speak

Even in Swansea the Blaenymaes accent is frowned upon

Very rough area though so you don't pass comment too much.

Cardiff/Newport accent doesn't even sound welsh to me. More scouse/worzel.
Fri Nov 01, 2013 2:03 pm
Newport has to be the funniest accent or should i say Newpoyt ,well something like that.

Agreed that Newport sounds Worzel. More than one Cardiff accent. If you want to hear a plastic Scouse accent, head north!

Another funny accent is mid wales where welsh is predominantly their first language. When they speak English its like listening to a Pakistani or indian who's English is their second language.

It's amusing how if you go over the bridge we all sound "welsh" yet we can hear differences even valley to valley.

Trowbridge Cardiff, rumney, llanrumney and st mellons all have same accent as does most of Cardiff
Strong swansea accent is a f*cking passion killer

I remember working with a boy from Blaenymaes and didn't think he had a different accent tbh.
