How do you think malky will approach sunday?

Thu Oct 31, 2013 5:51 pm

Do you reckon he will go for his usual 4-5-1 or will he switch it up to 4-4-2?

I believe its a game we have to go for and need 3 points especially when we haven't won in 3 and with the games coming up villa, man u and arsenal there going to be also very tough.

I rate malky highly but the only thing i dont rate is how he does play quite negative at home and needs to go for it a bit more and try and play 2 upfront espcially when he play campbell because he has never looked like a lone striker and needs someone up top with him.

whatever the outcome is i just hope we come away with 3 points :ayatollah:

18yard line hoofball with our backs to the wall while marshall has to turn in to the local cat making a string of saves as normal while hoping for a break or a set piece to score from thats how its gone in most games so will probly be the same :ayatollah:

we lack pace on the wings so much!!

thats where i think swansea will hurt us a little on weekend... i was at the norwich game and howson and snodgrass were toying with taylor and whitts down that one side.

id love to see noone play

4-4-2 against Swansea? Nope. They will kill us in the middle of the park.

We should stick to the 4-2-3-1 we're playing but push more men up so Campbell isn't isolated.

agree it makes us hard to beat but it also makes it hard to win a game.. away from home i agree set up as 4-5-1 but home i reckon 2 strikers is key

Would not be surprised to see Cornelius on the bench and given a run out second half. :malky:

He won't go on the train.
The Barry Cardiff line is being repaired. He usually uses the park and ride at Cadoxton but he will probably catch the early bus from Cowbridge instead.

Play for a 0-0 draw with a 5-4-1 formation and get Marshall to hoof it up to the loan striker for the two monster jack defenders to win the ball back. If Marshall does not have the ball and Turner does, then the same tactic will apply. He will advise Taylor to stand at least 4 metres away from the winger and invite the winger to cross the ball into the danger zone where the jacks can score from. Gary medal will once again play at least 2 feet in front of caulker and Turner leaving 4 jack midfielders to run the show against our 3. He will not play Noone because he is to creative and could cause the jacks a few problems instead of defending. He will play Gunharsson to play 4 feet in front of the Pitbull and get in his way. Whitts will hide for 89 minutes of the game as he will not be played in the middle of midfield.
Come on Malkey ffs, get our ball players on, squeeze the bastards down, get the creative players in midfield and get the ball in where it counts and lets smash the fuckers!

Marshall - Play it to the full backs and not give it straight back to them.
Catherine - keep tight to Dyer and/or Routledge.
Taylor - GET TIGHT TO DYER AND/OR ROUTLEDGE AND DONT INVITE/LET THEM CROSS THE BALL YOU POSER!!!
Caulker - by all means treat it as a derby, but be controlled and confident in what you do.
Turner - the jacks don't press the back 4, so you will have time to get it to our midfield. PLEASE DO NOT HOOF EVERY BALL AIMLESSLY.
Whoever is in midfield, and hopefully it will be kim, medal, mutch and noone, have confidence and pass the ball around, there is no need to pass the ball more than 10m.
Hopefully there will be two up front and hopefully it will be Campbell and Bellers or odemwinge, but whoever it is, they have to stand on their last man and not let them have that back pass "get out of jail free" tactic.

Come on City, get into them, squeeze their back four and keep tight on their midfield, stick to that and we can beat the scum. :ayatollah:

I would expect him to approach sunday in his car as per normal and then walk through the front entrance putting one foot in front of the other.
:malky:

On a serious note I hope bellamy makes an impact this 4-5-1 is resulting in us having 1 or 2 weak efforts on goal per game

Malky under a microscope for this one.

We could see jacks with position and then us kicking it back to them after breaking up at our box.

Hope I'm wrong :ayatollah:

Unfortunately the same as every other. Play too deep sitting on our box, Medel acting as sweeper instead of pushing forward, triangular passing in midfield then back to Turner to hoof the fook out of it into the stand!

How Id like them to play it, Hudson to come in, Noone def to come in and have 2 upfront, really get into them! Leave Cowie on the fkin training pitch cos we wont win nowt with him as our "Winger".

Come on Malky, if were going down from this league lets go fighting

Remember when Man City were supposed to put 5 or 6 on us?

Swansea are 11/8 across the board. I wish I was as confident as you lot. I'd put my house on an away win. Big money out there for you lot

Hopefully we press up while they got the ball and try and disrupt their play. If you disrupt their passing game they have nothing , if we want to sit back and against them we are asking for trouble. Do not be scared of their passing game just push up and disrupt and we will win the game :ayatollah:
