Very good read Nathan.

May I pick a slight point with you however, genuine question. I expect to be slated as ever, but if you take a step back my view does side with sense.

Do you really think promotion from the championship is "an astonishing feat" after spending (net) the most in the whole league that year. £14 million wasnt it? To put that in perspective, thats 40% more than we spent in our first Premier League season.

Surely it was more of an expected occurrence rather than an astonishing feat?

Your pretty shit at wind ups really, arent you?

What Nathan actually says is
"A fixture that has seen some memorable goals, fantastic moments is about to take place on the biggest stage in its history, the Premier League. Rivalry aside, it is an astonishing achievement that both sides have made it this far up the football pyramid, especially the remarkable rise of Swansea City in recent years."

he is actually describing the fact that both Welsh clubs have reached the top tier together as an astonishing achievement and not Cardiff's alone :laughing6:
Although, you knock yourself out and interpret it how you like

I certainly am yes, which is why i tend not to do them.

So what you are saying he meant was - its an amazing achievement that we are in the premier league aswell as you which was something that was expected after the money spent? :?

Twice you have quoted the guy and twice you have mis-quoted him "astonishing feat" and "amazing achievement" and that's when I have done you the faviour of pasting the actual passage for you
How you expect to be taken even half seriously, is beyond me
Nathan, clearly, is describing the fact that BOTH welsh clubs have made it to the top tier and are there together at the same time as an "astonshing achievement". It has nothing to do with how much money was spent to get there, just the fact that BOTH are there together, get it?

They mean the same thing dont they?

Ok lets break it down. If Cardiff getting promotion to the premier league was expected (spent oodles of money, most in the league) then surely the only astonishing achievement is that Swansea is there also?

An amazing achievement and astonishing feat?

I think you are confusing an amazing achievement with pure coincidence. It is an amazing achievement that we got there under the budget we had. It was expected that you got there as you spent your way up the leagues spending more than anyone in the championship in the year you got there.

For us both to be there at the same time is an amazing coincidence - not an amazing achievement.

I think based on the states of the teams a few years ago, the fact that both are in the top flight is quite an achievement

I get it even if Roathie doesn't. I'm sure what the original poster meant was the fact that we got there, and you followed us by selling your souls and becoming the laughing stock of British football in order to so as being quite an astonishing achievement! Honestly, I think Roathie just argues for the sake of it sometimes! :laughing6:

 innit wtf.

Coincidence maybe, astonishing achievement? Give Doncaster £15m to spend in a single season and an open tab on wages to get the likes of Bellamy and im sure they would go up too.

Got some friendly advice for you mate, please don't take this the wrong way...

Try to keep articles / blog posts under 500 words. Most people will visit that site and leave straight away due to the length of the post. This will give your website a high bounce rate and hurt your search engine ranking for keywords within your article.

You're much better off writing 5 smaller articles of 500 words each, than one big article which might scare people off.

Hope this helps.
