Lets hope our braindead minority keep their change in their pockets this time instead of throwing it at his head!

Was about to ask wasn't he the one who got hit by the coin. Bet hes looking forward to it.

Also gave us quite a soft penalty that afternoon when Ross was "fouled" right at the end of the game.

Could not watch as he took it but fortunately he scored.

At least we're getting a good ref for a game like this :)

Quality! I would've been stood to the left of where that was filmed from, on its day Ninian Park was something special. :ayatollah:

Mike Dean was excellent and handled the situation with total professionalism. I'm pleased we have him again for this game and I hope our fans don't embarrass our club this Sunday, I'm worried a few will with a 4pm kick off and it wouldn't surprise me to see a streaker/pitch invader.

I believe we drew that game 2-2 by the way, Nathan Dyer put them ahead, we got it back to 1-1 and then Joe Allen scored at the Grange End in the last couple of minutes, drilling one into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Luckily, Mike Dean gifted us a soft penalty at the death for McCormack to slot away. Mike Dean got us out of jail to be fair!

The game was a 2 - 2 draw with a soft pen at the end but hey f**k em. Do you reckon Mike Dean would have given it if he hadn't have had that coin in the head? May have felt a bit intimidated by it all and wanted a nice peaceful draw. However I would like to think the coin was meant for one of the jack c###s next to him rather than Mike Dean.

very happy with this decision, at least (hopefully) we dont have to worry about the referees performance

The pen was soft but the jacks 2nd goal should not have stood as Scotland was in an offside position and blocked Marshall's sight line.

Ross, my apologies. I thought the 'coin' incident was the Leeds Utd game

There's always some alcohol-fuelled idiot who (probably not being a regular  ) will try something during a game like this just for the hell of it

You're right, of course, that Mike Dean saved us that day (vs Swans) but that only went to heighten the pleasure; a bit like Bellamy's screamer of a goal last time we played them! :ayatollah:
