Blue shirt sales v Red at moment!!!

Mon Oct 28, 2013 3:36 pm

Bought my very Blue shirt earlier. Assistant said they were selling like hot cakes and at moment out selling the red by at least 20 - 1. She also said they were selling 'much faster' than when the horrible red shirts came out. I think we will see a big difference to the overall colour in the stadium for Swansea Town game!!

Old blue shirt, new blue shirt.........anything Blue...................LETS TURN THAT STADIUM BLUE AGAIN ON SUNDAY AND SEND A MESSAGE TO DICTATOR TAN.

WE'RE CARDIFF CITY...WE'LL ALWAYS BE BLUE!!!!!!!!!

Tan says thank you for continuing to buy his rebranded merchandise. You'll get a red themed email of thanks around Christmas time for your purchase.

Don't get me wrong, I'm with you all the way in relation to the colour, just interested in why you wouldn't choose a retro blue shirt in order to regulate (however tokenisticaly) the power imbalance tan enjoys ?

good to hear.

hopefully a few who brought the red shirt have now also got the blue, and they can put the red back where it belongs..at the bottom of the drawer.

Let's make the CCS a blue cauldron on sunday to honour our club.

Weird isn't it. No Cardiff City fan could possibly have a problem with blue, or bluebirds, even if they do support the rebrand.

Yeah I'm a jack Troll  .

I am not against anything BLUE.

I have and always will support the BLUEBIRDS and anything connected with the club.

But what's the point of putting a red v blue shirt sales debate up?

f*cking pointless.

Hardly gonna unravel any new info is it.

Will Just boil down to same old recycled posts.

Clutching straw comment was easy and I'm surprised no one else picked it up.

Did any fan expect Cardiff to sell more red than blue tops?

But what is laughable is to purchase a blue top and think they're sticking two fingers up at Tan  .

Beermat badge still on it is it not?

Tans Badge.....

Personally I would imagine the value of the additional blue shirts in the stands far outweighs the financial impact upon Tan's bulging wallet !

I don't think Tan will bother looking at the sales figures & profits from the club shop - its a drop in the ocean to him.

The only reason for him wanting supporters to wear red is to fuel his ego - so in buying the blue replica shirts you can be perceived as making a Stand against Tan's re brand AND supporting the Cardiff City team in an up to date replica shirt.

Can I add a bit of sense to this propaganda?

The red shirt has been out for months, anyone who was going to buy it, probably has already.

The blue shirt has recently been released has it not? Those sales figures are not surprising as a result.

Seems a case of market saturation with the red rather than any sort if uprising.

For sure. I will take it on the chin of we lose and happily dish it out if we win.

Im not expecting to win by any means. I actually think we may lose 1-0. We arent the best at breaking down sides intent on stifling the game. I think you may sneak a goal and hold on to it.

Im not sure the exact stats but our record after falling behind is scary.

Tha a fair and honest assessment...

Which convinces me that your a fake Roath

Seriously though if Malky plays this defensive style I can see you boys getting all the possession you could ever want.

Norwich and Everton both battered us at times the stats were shocking..

Only difference will be if your strikers are better than the afore mentioned teams.

I can see an anti climactic 0-0 bore draw.

Think you have been listening to too much anti roath propaganda created by those that like to have free reign of peddling their rubbish without being challenged

Possession we will certainly have but possession doesnt mean goals especially when you have 11 players in the box blocking the goals :D

Yeah but you will have 11 and 3 officials

Pffft not judging from the last appearances at your gaff. Apparently mike dean invented a rule that it was a penalty offence to jump for a header and that rule was coined in that fixture - no pun intended.

Got him on ignore so I'm just gonna reply to this post.

Yes what your saying is bang on, sadly.

But the point is, WHY would you comment on this thread other than wanting a reaction? WHY cant you just comment on actual match threads? Don't see what this has to do with you tbh.

So im on ignore yet you are talking to me. Bizarre.

Im "spot on" yet whats it got to do with me? does it matter? Just be glad ive brought sense to the proceedings or would you rather people think there is a non existent uprising against tan!

Jesus  if you have me on ignore then ignore me, you are nuts.

Free world. Hardly my fault I have you on ignore and there is a flaw in it i.e me being able to see your posts when you are quoted.
Normally ignore them too, but noticed a few things in this one.
You claim you are here to talk sense, but you know full well by you making comments on the rebrand you will get a reaction, and thats my point if you are here on friendly terms when why do things to agitate the locals? Try and fit in..talk "sense" on just match related threads or actual swansea threads. WHY poke your nose into the running of our club and get involved in politics if your here to be this friendly poster you want to be portrayed as?
Your view was spot on, and yes it has nothing to do with you, Mr. wind up merchant.
Anyone with half a brain knows what you said, we didn't need you to poke your nose in and tell us.

its nothing to do with the rebrand, if anything the OP was to do with the rebrand mine is just about economics. Which bizarrely you called SPOT ON.

you will get a reaction, and thats my point if you are here on friendly terms when why do things to agitate the locals?

if anyine is agitated by me talking facts then i dont know how they get through life.

i dont want to fit in. Im here to talk football in general, if you dont like it ignore me stop asking me the same questions cluttering up a thread for the fourth time now.

Your view was spot on, and yes it has nothing to do with you, Mr. wind up merchant.

so if im spot on then what the hell are you talking about, how can you be wound uo by the truth that isnt even that offensive... If at all  .

Anyone with half a brain knows what you said, we didn't need you to poke your nose in and tell us

evennthough everyone resonded with "great news" "yay"... who you kidding.

Now if you have nothing to contribute to the thread then put me back on ignore or use the PM facility to continue your line of personal questioning and i will reply when i have time.
