DO WE REALLY HAVE THE BITE TO SATAY UP ?

Mon Oct 28, 2013 10:50 am

I would have thought, that results like the Norwich is just not good enough to keep us safe.

It just look to me that we could have been playing for another 2hrs and not scored.
It looks we just don't have the bite up front or the front men or man is not getting the service that is needed.
What's more my concern is Malky don't have the man that should be on the bench ready to be used in times of hardship.

We really cant depend on club like Sunderland and C Palace to keep getting bad results to keep us above them, we must do it our self's.
Yet Yesterdays result for the Black Cats will do a lot for there confidence while we Im afraid will start to question our self's.
If not for Marshal things would be looking a lot worse for us, and with no front force to really put defences under pressure we are going to fined it gets harder.
Im not saying we should press the panic button ,but we should be at least keeping our eyes open, could this James Forrest be the man to put that speed and trickery up front that we so desperately need.

I like the sound of this 'Kung Po Man'. I hope he's an out and out striker who will give us the satay bite we need.

We have a very good goalkeeper and a decent back 4 with Medal in front of that, but we dont have enough players who are comfortable on the ball in pressure situations, therefore we give the ball away a lot and end up having to chase and try and pressure the other side. This is tireing and can we keep it up all through the season ??? i dont think so....can we hit teams on the break..........not without more pace in the side.We are going to have to have a go at some of the sides who come to us who are down among the bottom 8/9 coz we need some 3 point games...........what tactics we employ to get them im not sure...........but we are doing ok.......a point a game will keep us up and thats what we are on..........but it could be squeeky bum time over the last 3 or 4 games. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Will we stay up? That depends on whether we've spent enough on players.

You know the old saying . . . pay peanuts, get satay.

looking at our squad this evening, and really we dont have alot to offer other than offering players like noone, maynard, mason, a run out etc

I cant see goals and I would hope bellamy gets back on the pitch because his loss of influence is notably effecting the team
