Hudson

Don't misconstrue (get it twisted) this as criticism of Big Ben, I think he's pulled his finger out, and stepped up big time. The passion he's gave the jersey when our comments and polls via various media outlets devalued him has been great. But id still like to see Huds alongside SC. I think his athleticism and technical ability will complement Sc's game a lot more....just a thought

I agree, I also think he's a much better passer of the ball.

Last thing I'd want to do before a derby is unnecessarily mess with a back four that is totally settled.

Has it been specified that anybody would like to 'mess with the back 4 before a derby game?'

Well yes, quite obviously.

If you would like to see Hudson alongside Caulker - then that would involve changing the back four...

Epistemology - are you mentally capable of distinguishing between opinion and revised factual theory? Your blurred opinion on clear text is invalid, it has not been directly indicated that I would like rhe back four to change prior to the derby. This article is posted prior to the derby, however I wouldn't want it changwd for the derby. If this was the case, then obviously I would have titled the article as 'Changes needed for derby day'. However as I am of supreme intelligence I forgive you of this heinous misunderstanding and with you the best of luck in your persuit of petulance. Xxxxxxxxxx love you

So you want to see Hudson in for Turner, but you aren't sure when you want to see it.

If you think Hudson is the better player (which you obviously do as you would prefer him in there) why would you leave him on the bench for the next game?

Turner and Caulker are great.

I must come clean. I am the illuminati. Look at ny three typos. The first misplaced letter is a 'T', the second a 'W' and third a 'T'. You see I am very cryptic, and I seek to find supreme individualsvas yourself. I, infact have been in unison with you all along, the cryptic formula denotes 'TWT' - Turner Wins Title. All hail Big Ben.

I am a big fan of Huds, that being said Ben has done a good job of defending this season. I believe that we have brought a lot of pressure on ourselves by playing Ben ahead of Huds, when we win the ball in defence other teams have worked out that quickly close Ben down and he will hoff it and thus there is little direction and purpose to it hence they gain possession straight back. Now the difference with Huds is that he will always try to use the ball more constructively and look to make a good pass and not putting ourselves back under pressure. My opinion is that we have a problem around distribution from the back and I would put Huds in ahead of Ben any day, but hey ho what do I know :ayatollah:

Yep, agree, they both have their own strengths, I think Huds can get the ball to medal with ease, far more often than Benny

s.c is right footed.b.t left.malky has balanced them up.hudson is a right footer?i think hudson will cut it myself and his leadership skills are fantastic.how he is on the left of a pair?this may have influenced malkys call.

Yeah...Everyone is missing the point though, im not disputing Ben Turner's selection, or the tactics behind it. Simply implying I would like to see Hudson have a shot at it with Caulker. Yes they are both play the same side, but its not as extreme as left back/right back, and being the highly paid, highly trained professionals they are, they *should* be comfortable, or as comfortable as a newly promoted pairing should be expected to be...

I was/am a big Hudson fan, no doubting his contribution in us winning the Championship and his excellent leadership.
I was very surprised he was left out at start of season, but have to say Turner as a defender has been excellent, his long passes?
However, one word I would never use as a strength for Hudson is athleticism.

I was a big Hudson fan but I said quite a few times last season that Turner would adapt to the Premier League and I think I have been proved right.

Shouldn't really come into the equation as Cardiff don't pass the ball. Just a thought
