SAM Hammam will fulfil his promise to Swansea City fans - and lay on free coaches to Ninian Park for the FAW Premier Cup final.

The Bluebirds' owner made the pledge when he met Swans fans at Pontardawe Football Club months ago, saying he would lay on free coaches if the two clubs met in cup competition.

And he will honour the promise when the Bluebirds take on the Swans in the FAW Cup final at Ninian Park on Monday May 13.

"We are offering 10, 15 or even 20 coaches for our Welsh brothers, " said Hammam. "It is a goodwill gesture - we value them as our guests.

"We have talked to all parties involved, including the Swansea City management and police. Everybody is happy with what we are doing.

"I want them to come and have a good time at Cardiff City. I hope the Swans fans will see Ninian Park as their second home.

"There is complete harmony between the two club's executive bodies."

Hammam has moved quickly following his plea to fans of both clubs, in yesterday's South Wales Echo, to stop feuding.

"Many times I have seen Cardiff City fans berating our brothers, the Jacks of Swansea City, " said Hammam.

"If we are really a big club we cannot think like that. If Swansea City are our main competition we will not make it.

"They are having a bad time and they are our Welsh brothers. We should never kick people when they are down.

"If we are confident of ourselves we should be anti-nobody."

Just as bad.

Because he did the totally stupid and unnecessary rebrand, he's lost most respect or credit that people had for him.

What would have been seen as odd, naive or eccentric behaviour (his comments about Swansea) and now seen in the context of the rebrand.

I increasingly dislike the man, and he is totally disrespectful to us as supporters.

I totally agree with what your saying but where were these posters when others were coming out with quotes and doing things not much different than Tan..
I don't like or dislike Tan except for the rebrand so i dont go slagging him off for every little thing just to stir shit.

He also came up with another great idea, asking people to bring a replica shirt of another club to the club shop in order to get a discount on a new City shirt,,,,then he was going to burn all the old shirts on a bonfire.

An excellent idea, but for some reason, it didn't take off.

Agree wit the first bit, Swansea were struggling then, but the table hasn't fully turned in that respect,,, its pretty much level at the moment. They might have a slightly upper hand as things stand, but we will improve & get better, a lot better,,,with or without the current management status.

If i remember correctly, the green kit was only for the FAW competition ( i think that was the official line anyway ).

Our first kit was, of course Blue, with a red second kit. I still have the blue & green replicas.
