If we had beaten Hull we would be 9th today.

thats how fine the line is.

and I bet you our fickle fans would be talking about top half finishes
rather than relagation

Didnt Hull create far more chances than you though? It was more likely you should have lost than won surely? Which means you would be on 8pts joint with the relegation zone.

Id understand if you were unlucky and deserved to win. Its like saying if we beat Man United wed be 9th. The fact is we lost fair and square.

Agree. What a pointless thread, imagine spurs didnt score in the final minute then we would be on 10 points pmsl

Roath appears to be relying on a score in this thread, but relying on shots in other threads...

What score am I relying on?

With regards to chances created, i have simply said the more chances a team creates the more likely it is to win. Do you really disagree? :?

If your auntie had bollocks she would be your uncle.

We are lucky to be on 9 points given the performances

If you had your way malky would be out after we lost against Bristol city last year... C'est la vie.

We wouldn't have won the league and perhaps wouldn't even be in the premier league as a result.

Where would we be IF we'd won ALL our games, sloper_road_legend? :?

At the end of the day we are where we are because points make prizes. That is why the draw against Norwich wasn't as bad as some are suggesting ;)

Same as your views on Malky then. Be a fan not a critic.

Its not a pointless thread Im making a clear statement that our current position does not define where we will finish.

people are getting negative over being one point off 18th when we could realisticly be top half if the run of play went for us.

Play went for us?

Weve picked a point up yesterday that wasnt deserved.

Everton battered us and should have had a pen another scarcely deserved point.

And but for Marshall we would have been battered by 5 or 6 v Spurs and Newcastle.

He was also MOTM vs Hull.

Not really into rimming personally, more of a vag man.
Just don't get how any fan can't criticise when we've continuously progressed under him. What were you expecting this season? Top 6? Serious question.

To be fair we have had a bit of luck to date yesterday was a lucky point as was the one against Everton and spurs could have been a cricket score. The worry is everybody is talking about Marshall's heroics after games and not the prowess of our strike force

17th will do however I dont hold any hope of it with the current strategy.

We cant keep relying on getting battered and Marshy being MOTM.

Even after spending 35m we are still playing hoofball. It wont work in the long run in this division.

True, but lets wait and see what cornelius offers first, or if malky changes it. Noone would have been a good outlet yesterday but he was injured.

Agree with most of that but don't think Marshall played at Hull!

My bad fellas but you get the common theme our keeper has been bailing us out nearly every game this season.

That is to be expected in some games though. There's a gulf in class between the top 7-8 and the rest. I'm quite happy where we are at the moment, we could be playing better but the way I see it is that if we're not playing brilliantly and picking up points, imagine when we play well how we'll do. Be positive. I'd be much more concerned if we were playing well and losing.

Yes it is in some games but not every game which Fulham aside it has been.
