A forum for all things Cardiff City

I read here often but I decided to post after reading some comments.
It is disappointing the way we play at times but some here think we can steam roll some teams, it's not going to happen. Given our situation I do not care how we play, so long as we stay up.
I don't care who our manager is, who owns us or anything else other than us being in the premiership next season. It's about survival and survival only. If it goes tits up then we could be finished as a club.
I do think Malky is the man for the job but I think he will be gone at the next given opportunity. Our best chance of survival (from a fans point of view) is to do what fans do best - support the team as much as possible.
When I read a good few comments here I think to myself why do they bother? It's all doom and gloom. I take great pleasure in following the City, I wouldn't bother if I was being negative all the time.

I was there yesterday, and at times, we were being absolutely battered. Whitts and Taylor gave Snodgrass so much space and we were fortunate that his delivery was mostly poor. Having said that the two of the most clear cut chances in the game fell to us - Caulker missed an open goal with a header and Ruddy made an unbelievable save from Mutch.
I was bemused when we took off Kimbo and Odemwingie and replaced them with Cowie and Gunnarsson, but although it negated any attacking threat we did have, it also made it more difficult for them to play through the middle. However, the substitution of Medel with Bellamy just opened that avenue back up again and they almost took full advantage of it as we tired. Medel seemed pissed off about it too and I think Malky has to take a look at what he thought that might actually achieve as we offered nothing going forward after it - or maybe I am missing something.
The positives for me were another excellent display from Marshall [wayward kicking again though] and Mutch looked good going forward. I hate to say it as he has been a great servant to us, but Whitts looks totally out of his depth and his lack of pace is causing all sorts of issues down the left. He needs a rest as his set piece delivery was poor too. Campbell is struggling badly in the lone striker role as the service is shocking.
I don't suppose we will see much different against the jacks, but we have to press them higher up the pitch as we did with Man City.
It was a good hard earned point [who knows how useful it may be at the end of the season], but the lack of real quality is certain positions is beginning to show and we have to be more positive - not gung ho, but we are not getting enough efforts on goal and are allowing far too many the other end by standing off so much.
