EVERYONE IS TOO NEGATIVE, POSITIVITY WILL SEE US THROUGH

Sun Oct 27, 2013 5:20 am

Everyone on here seems to be airing their disappointment about todays game. We just got a point away from home in the premier league. If this had been a championship game it would have been a top of the table clash and a point we would be very happy with. They played well, we played badly YET WE STILL CAME AWAY WITH A POINT. If we can get a point every time we play badly and 3 points every time we play well then we will stay up. Norwich will see that as 2 points lost today, if we beat them at home which should be our aim then that's 4 points from a relegation rival. That has to be our aim, to take more points from our relegation rivals than they take from us.

At half time Malky saw that they were over running us, and we did start with an attacking side, he decided to go for the point at half time and he got it, express your disappointment as much as you want but we have got 9 points from 9 games, 38 point is usually enough to stay up, if we can beat our relegation rivals at home at pick something up against them on the road maybe even the odd win (like Fulham) we will stay up. We have picked up 4 points at home against Everton and Man City, games we were expected to get no points in. If we can win at home to Palace, Sunderland, Hull, Fulham, Norwich and even West Brom and Stoke, we would have gained 4 points on Hull, 4 on Norwich 6 on Fulham and we are yet to play the others in any capacity.

We have had a very tough start to the season with the teams we have had at home and we have picked up points, I don't care how defensive or how bad we have played, we are outside the relegation zone after a very tough start, with very winnable me to come against certain teams. Just be realistic 40 points has to be the aim and I would say it is only Newcastle we underachieved against so far this season yet we made up for it with Man City and Everton.

Stop the negativity and start the positivity, it is going to be hard but we can do it.

Another point maybe and im sure we would have taken that before the game but another performance where we could easily have been smashed by 5 had it not been for the heroics of Marshall.

We cant keep relying on Marshall to he MOTM which he provably has been 7 of the 9 games
especially as if we do concede weve failed to score in 5 of the 9 games and dont look lke scoring from open play.

Call it negativity if you want I call it being concerned.

Well said, I Agree.

I don't think we have played a game yet where we have been favourites. People can start criticising when we play the likes of Palace, Hull, Sunderland, Stoke, Fulham, WestBrom, WestHam at Home.

Spot on mate . December is massive for us . So much negativity about . After 9 games we have 8 more points than Sunderland and we are not in the bottom 3 . It was always going to be a struggle
