R.I.P Kevin Roy

Not sure many have been familiar with a fellow bluebird named Kevin Roy over the years.He was the younger brother of a well known face from the 70's known as peggy (john roy).unfortunately he recently lost his battle with cancer.After a very brave and determined fight he finally had to succumb to a brain tumour. I personally have got a lot of happy memories of time spent with him.A very loveable guy with a massive sense of fun and an ever bigger love of city.He was at least able to see us finally reach the prem and im sure hes now reminising with Gordon who also recently left us. Didn't know Kevin, but sad all the same

RIP, fella, and condolences to all those who loved/knew him

Shocked and saddened at this news. Made many a train journey with Kevin and Peggy in the early 80s. Always had a chat with Kevin when I saw him at games in more recent years. Last saw Kevin last season when he spoke positively and bravely about his fight with cancer.

yes he had been doing well was a shock to the family as well.i still cant believe it.will miss him
