According to BBC 31 shots to 6 yet we managed a draw....

A huge majority of them were from far out, or from an awkward angle. They had 31 shots and 10 on target, We had 6 shots and 4 on target.

If you look at other games we played it's same story loads of shots but 90% outside box and off target as they cannot get close to the goal ! Statistics are only used by people to highlight their own agenda! Its a result led game regardless of statistics ?

You mean like Bryan Ruiz's and Loic Remy's? People need to realise allowing teams to shoot from the edge of the box at this level will still get you punished. In the Championship there is less quality and it still happened then now and then. In this league they will, like Ruiz just bend it in the top corner and make you pay. Luckily for us, Mutch bailed us out that afternoon.

Stats do mean something, prior to today we had allowed the highest number of attempts on goal and we had also conceded the highest number of goals from outside the box.

Clearly we need to reduce the number of attempts on out goal. With Norwich's 31 it is only a matter of time in a match before one goes in.Luckily today we survived that one.

Stats mean we defended like f**k and were lucky to get a draw. Becoming a bit of a theme
