Kevin mcnaughton has extended his loan deal with bolton until January with a view to a permanent move
The Scottish full-back, 31, has made three appearances for Dougie Freedman’s men and is yet to be on the losing side ahead of today’s Championship clash with Ipswich.
McNaughton, who joined Cardiff from Aberdeen in 2006, was set to return to the Welsh capital next week, but both clubs have agreed a two-month extension.
Nicknamed the "Silver Fox" by teammates because of his greying hair, McNaughton has won four caps for Scotland.
He made his international debut for Scotland against Nigeria in 2002.

I know i posted about him being the best right back since sliced bread t'other week (tongue in cheek but i thought he was good) but did anyone clock how unfit, fat, slow and generally lethargic he was today? Given dougies fitness standards i was absolutely shocked he completed 90minutes.
When he overlapped in the second half and physically couldnt get back when they countered...amazing.

Absolutely 100% agree. He looked like a very tired, very old (ignoring the grey hair) and fat, pub footballer when running back on the occasion to which you refer. However, prior to that he seemed like a no nonsense footballer who didn't do too much wrong.
Tbh he wasn't the worst out there today. Far from it. I'm looking at you Chris Eagles. You lazy feck.

He wasn't good, but he was a damn sight better than Mears has ever been for this club so there is definitely no need for a change in that position at the moment.

Didn't think he did much wrong.
Would like to see him on the left to see how he does.
Since Alonso (who was apparently shit) left. We've struggled there. Baptiste still doesn't look comfortable and Tierney can't kick a ball straight and is like a bull in a china shop.

Yeah defensively ok...when he could keep up!

Good luck to him. I hoped he might have played a part this season, but I don't think he'd get a look in now.

Sounds like we will get a nice little transfer fee for Kev.

I'm sure Kev will get fit and ready asap, that's just his attitude. Good Luck to him.

We will get nothing for him. He's been a good servant and deserves a free transfer.

Unless someone wants to pay a fee, just the same has Darcy.

Those are Bolton "fans" quotes. Bolton? Without using google maps or referring to an atlas, would you know where the f**k that place is?
I'm pretty clued up on UK geography, world geography as well, but have to confess I had to use google earth to find the place.
