EasyJet, Bristol.. Are you allowed to

Tue Oct 22, 2013 8:49 pm

If anyone has used EasyJet or flew from Bristol could you tell me if Fancy dress is allowed to be worn on to the plane? Is it an extra cost?

Cheers lads.

we flew to magaluf from Bristol with Ryanair the stag had nothing but a very tight pair of gold hotpants on which could only keep 1 ballbag in at any point. had a big 70's wig and sunglasses as well, even customs just laughed and didn't ask him to take wig off or even huge sunglasses looked nothing like his passport obviously but just waved him through.

Won't be allowed on if cannot put seat belt on, causes interference with passengers! Suspect you won't get on looking at pics!

If your taking a case ask at Check in if its acceptable, if your just taking hand luggage then you will clothes to change into anyway if needed.

As above you will need to be able to put your belt on and if they think it will cause other passengers a problem again they may ask you to remove it, No idea what EasyJets policy is though.

I'm taking hand luggage mate.

Can see them being funny as they are quite wide, worth a go though as they wont fit into the hand luggage. :ayatollah:

I did this same flight this month, none of other passengers were dressed as bananas that day so I can't advise you in that. One thing I will mention though is since you need to check in online don't worry about the old 'get there 2 hours early rule' you can literally get to the airport 30 mins prior to boarding and you'll be fine.

You'll probably get stopped in customs because you aren't allowed to take certain foods out of the country... I heard they are even more strict on the way back in, be careful not to... Wherever you are going, I hope you have a ....fruitful time away.... :ayatollah:

How do you do this online check in thing by the way?? New to booking online and that see, usually book through travel agents. :ayatollah:

If you booked online with hand luggage only you NEED to check in online and print your boarding cards mate, you can do all that via their website on the 'my booking' section

Oh god yes, dont go with out your boarding cards, log onto easyjet, put in your reference and you will need to put in your passport details and print off a boarding card or they will charge you. Some airlines charge you for an entire new ticket.
